What to Expect from a Reiki Session

Usui Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

During a session, the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the body to support deep relaxation and the body's natural balance.

At Soramame Chiropractic Clinic (そらまめ整体院), sessions are provided one-on-one by the clinic owner in a quiet traditional tatami room near Osaka.

Each session lasts about 70 minutes and many guests describe a warm, calming sensation and a clear, rested feeling afterward.

English support is available through translation, and advance reservations are required.

Limited sessions per day due to the private setting.

FAQ – Visiting Our Reiki Room

〜 Questions international visitors often ask 〜

実際の公開ページでは回答部分が閉じた状態で表示されます。
  • Q1. Do I need to speak Japanese?

    A. No problem if you don’t speak Japanese. We use a translator device, and if English is difficult, please tell us your main language in advance.

  • Q2. What should I wear? Do I need to take off my clothes?

    A. Reiki is done fully clothed, so there’s no need to undress. We recommend wearing something comfortable.

  • Q3. Is Reiki safe? Are there any side effects?

    A. Reiki is very gentle and safe. There are no harmful side effects. Most people feel relaxed, lighter, or refreshed after the session.

  • Q4. Will the session be done by the practitioner himself?

    A. Yes, every session is given by the clinic director himself at Soramame Chiropractic Clinic.

  • Q5. Can we choose different styles (tatami futon / bed) within the same group?
